In order to participate in therapeutic horsemanship as a client at Wings of Hope,

you must have a diagnosis, disability, or challenge diagnosed by a licensed medical healthcare professional.

All therapeutic horsemanship clients must complete the application process by:

  1. Submit the interest form and a signed medical statement by a licensed medical healthcare professional.
  2. Complete a meet & greet evaluation at Wings of Hope after all paperwork is received and prior to starting lessons.
  3. Commit to a weekly lesson on the same day and time each week.

Email programs@wingsofhopehorses.org for questions about the application, evaluation, or scheduling process.

Sessions are scheduled continuously September - May.

Optional modified Summer opportunities are available in June and July.

Are you interested in becoming a weekly therapeutic horsemanship client?

Thank you for your interest in our programs! At this time, we have very limited availability for new clients.

To be considered when a spot opens, please complete our online interest form. In addition, a licensed healthcare professional who currently provides care for the prospective client must complete the medical form and return it to programs@wingsofhopehorse.org

Once we receive both forms, we will contact you with the next steps. If your preferred class time is full, your application will be placed on our waiting list. We will keep your information on file and reach out as soon as an opportunity becomes available.
